Requiem for a Dream is tells the parallel stories of 4 people that are all linked in one way or another. Harry Goldfarb, his mother, Sara Goldfarb, his girlfriend, Marion Silver, and his friend, Tyrone C. Love. All 4 live in drug-induced euphorias but as their addictions take over their lives, their drug-induced euphorias are shattered. Requiem for a Dream is a ceremony for their dreams that they have lost due to drug addiction
